Chapter 1: The Summer of the Beautiful White Horse (pp. 1-8)
Two cousins from an Armenian family ride off on a beautiful white horse, and the story turns on a moral dilemma: when is taking the horse stealing, and when is it borrowing? Honesty and family honour hang on that answer.

Chapter 3: Mother’s Day (pp. 14-33)

At 20 pages it is the longest chapter in the book — longer than Chapters 1 and 2 combined.
Chapter 4: Birth (pp. 34-38)
A young doctor takes on a delivery that seems hopeless and refuses to give up on the baby — a story of professional duty, perseverance, and the value of a life.
Five pages long, it is the quickest single read in the book — the chapter to finish first on a revision night.
Chapter 5: The Tale of Melon City (pp. 39-46)
A king whose own decree forces him to hang the first man who passes becomes an absurd fable about how justice, governance, and satire can go wrong when rules are followed without sense. It is written as a poem, so it reads best aloud in one continuous flow.
It closes the book at 8 pages, making it the natural final read of the three-day plan below.
