Business Studies Class 12 Textbook PDF – Both NCERT Parts

Looking for the business studies class 12 textbook pdf? NCERT prints this subject as two separate books — Business Studies Part I and Business Studies Part II — and both are linked below with their official PDFs.

Together the two books hold 11 chapters across 304 printed pages. The page numbers run continuously, so Part II opens at page 215 rather than page 1. That is why a chapter name or a page reference alone does not tell you which PDF to open — this page settles it.

How to use the Business Studies Class 12 textbook

Three checks tell you which book your chapter is in.

• By chapter number. Chapters 1–8 are Part I; chapters 9–11 are Part II. Homework that says “Chapter 10” means the second book.
• By topic. The management functions — nature and significance of management, principles of management, business environment, planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling — are all Part I. Financial management, marketing (Understanding Market) and consumer protection are all Part II.
• By what the teacher called it. “Book I / Part I” versus “Book II / Part II”; if only the chapter was named, the chapter number settles it.

Watch the page numbers before you search. They run continuously across both books, so a reference to “page 240” means Part II, not a Part I reprint. The official PDF file names also give the book away: lebs101 to lebs108 are Part I, and lebs201 to lebs203 are Part II.

What is inside Business Studies Part I and Part II

Part I builds the management functions in the order they are taught. It opens with the nature and significance of management, the principles of management and the business environment, then moves through planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling. Its two longest chapters are Principles of Management (pages 30–68, 39 pages) and Directing (pages 169–200, 32 pages).

Part II is the finance and commerce half of the syllabus. It holds financial management, understanding the market (marketing) and consumer protection — so a student who downloads only Part I will search in vain for Chapter 9. Understanding Market is the longest chapter in the whole subject (pages 242–288, 47 pages).
